- Eliminate the adjunct faculty certificate and create one certificate that would serve all faculty and other campus-based educators who are interested in teaching and learning processes.
- Create a series of 10 modules that would provide basic information about teaching and learning theory and strategies and other necessary information. Include an ISW.
Instructional Skills Workshop
- Redesign the Instructional Skills Workshop to include reflective IIMP (Inquiry into my Practice) Methods.
Other Options
- Partner with local university to create a Teaching and Learning/Developmental Education graduate certificate that faculty could use for promotion.
- Teach a graduate course onsite or hybrid that faculty could take for credit. A ceremony or other recognition would be provided to faculty who take one or more courses.
